When you are speaking truth into someone’s life and they don’t want to hear it, you need to step away.
It doesn’t mean you drop them forever, nor does it mean you stop being there when they reach out.
Your money matters to God, not because He doesn’t want you to have things, but because He doesn’t want your things to have you.
Walking in faith requires a sense of trust in what has been promised, but a conviction to push forward when we don’t see what’s coming.
Your scars remain. Your hurt is real. Acknowledge it. Don’t hold it in and deal with it alone. Find someone to confide in and work things through. The pain may not go away forever, but at least you’ll know you don’t have to deal with it by yourself when the weather is bad.
By the grace of God I have been lifted up out of my spiritual death. I have learned from my mistakes and the hurt I held on to. Through all of that I have grown to know, God will shine through the mess.
If we claim to be a follower of Christ, there is very clear direction on how we should respond and recognize our enemies.
We can be unhappy, but when you allow your unhappiness to ruin your day or influence your relationships, the your time is officially wasted.
